Course Details

You may never have studied Family Law. You may never practise Family Law. But you should know some of the basic principles and this session will give you that knowledge.

There will be times that your client’s interests may be affected by relationship issues happening to them or one of their family members. Do you know when this is? Do you know when to refer them to a specialist? When does a defacto relationship start, when does a legal separation commence and what rights and obligations come into existence when they do? Wills, loans arrangements, family businesses, the list of what can be affected goes on.
