Course Details
The session will cover recent Australian events and global trends (Australian Senate Enquiry, Unaoil and Panama Papers), the Australian legal framework and what you need to know about the FCPA (US) and Bribery Act (UK), corporate culture and governance, facilitation payments and best practice systems and experience. It will also consider aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). Case studies will be used to show both best and worst practice in action and what we can learn from that.
Mark Darian-Smith and Varun Ghosh will lead a lively and informative discussion on this fascinating area of practice.
